First let me say guys that Carolyn Boroden is having a free webinar tomorrow at 3:3-0 est on fibs. Lets all check it out as she bases all her work on clusters.

Secondly tails, Im not sure I agree. I just got rid of NT because it wouldnt do much for me in fibs except let me plot the same 3 things all fib programs do. FT however uses 3 timeframes although only one is shown to do their calculatiuons.(i dont understand it perfectly yet but im digging.) so...tell me why NT is better?) At least let the newbies get a free week trial there and judge for themselves, right?

DT

With NinjaTrader I use fibonacci confluence lines that are calculated from 54 fib levels over 10 different timeframes, so I may use a total of 540 fib lines. Also I have better tools available for NinjaTrader for the zone analysis (Jackson Zones, see FibonacciTrader Journal #14).

I think that the current release 4.0 of Fibonacci Trader was published around 2003, that is nine years ago. It greets you with the label "compatible with Windows 98 and higher". This is a joke.

There is nothing that you can do with Fibonacci Trader that you cannot do with NinjaTrader or any other of the modern software packages such as MultiCharts or Sierra Charts. It is just an outdated and overpriced piece of software with very limited capabilities. Does it come

- with a scripting language based on C or Java?
- with a DOM?
- with automated trade management for discretionary traders ?
- with the capability of running automated strategies?
- with backtesting capabilities?
- with a genetic optimizer and MonteCarlo simulations?

You are talking about a toy! If you want to further discuss it, we can create a thread on FibonacciTrader in the vendors section of the forum.

@Daytrader50,

Do you have any involvement or relationship with Mark Braun whatsoever?

Are you Mark?

Your posts read like a vendor advertisement.

Sorry for answering this so late Mike. I dont always look at my mail as the highlighted part is so small. I have to go back and see what I posted that makes you suspect I am Mark or work with or for him. Wow, I must have really gotten excited. But no, I have relationship with Mark at all at this point, in fact I used to be a member of his room 2 yrs ago, and because I ordered his course which is 16+ hours of video, and at the same time reading Carolyn Borodens book too, I still havent finished his course 2 years later but the man IMHO is a genius at what he does. Period. I am a bit shocked that no one here took a free trial in his room. After all, how many trade rooms call day trades on a 3 min chart using Fib Clusters?????? And will give you entry and tgt points on individual stocks YOU might be interested in for free on your trial. If you prefer, I wont talk about him anymore until I get back in his room and can verify or prove his validity. I respect whatever makes you comfortable.

To get someone's attention you need to properly mention them by using @ in front of their username, @Fat Tails

@Rudy5: I only saw your post after Mike had brought it to my attention by mentioning @Fat Tails.

Just for information....

March 04, 2016 is a Fibonacci 2,584 trading days from the November 25, 2005 top
March 07, 2016 is a Fibonacci 1,597 trading days from the October 30, 2009 low.
March 14, 2016 is a Fibonacci 610 trading days from the October 08, 2013 low.
March 11, 2016 is a Fibonacci 144 trading days from the August 14, 2015 top.
March 14, 2016 is a Fibonacci 89 trading days from the November 03, 2015 high.
March 14, 2016 is a Fibonacci 21 trading days from the February 11, 2016 low.

A strong possibility the next leg down will start +/- around these dates - assuming the recent price action is a top.

Does anyone know if Mark Braun's room
Mark Braun - Fibonacci Trading
is active?

I couldn't see any sign up forms, so I emailed Mark but no reply.

I did see a reference to "the late Mark Braun" in a google search but no details. If he has passed away has anyone taken over the room?

Thanks
Phil
