Rookie NinjaTrader question ..

have purchased and imported 10yrs of DJIA data. End date of 05/09/2014.
Am using the Free version of NinjaTrader, trying to develop my own strategies and indicators.
I am a programmer, still learning C#.
Have created a simple stategy using built in tools.

Have Not been able to test it with the imported data, which I can show on a chart ...

Suggestions ?
