Hello,

Does anyone have a combined Range Counter / Tick Counter / Bar Timer that determines the chart's setting to display whatever you may need for the countdown instead of the standard error message?

i.e. "Range Counter only works on Range Bars"
"Tick Counter ony works on tick based intervals"
"Bar timer only works on intraday time based intervals"

TIA

Kirk

I modified mine a long time ago.

Put all of them on your chart. Blank out the label. You won't get any error messages, it will only show the "right" thing.

Eh? I just named them Mod so I could keep them separate from the built-in NT ones with the same name. Could have been named Bob. So not sure I follow?

Just put them in your Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5\bin\indicators directory, then compile any indicator (Tools -> NinjaScript Indicator) and you should see them in your list from then forward... but I am 99% sure you know all this, you are quite technical if I remember

Here's on that a friend and I did a couple years ago. Some of you might have seen posts on the NT Forum by Gumphrie.

Anyway, here it is...you need a margin of 150. Just import it and add it to a chart. Name of the indicator is Status Box.

Hi!

I just saw this post.

I am looking for the Range and Volume Counter indicators for Ninjatrader 7 on Zip format.

Does anyone have this available? The files here appear to be for Ninjatrader 6.5

Thanks

PEDRO

Wow, talk about a blast from the past... why didn't you say you coded with Gumphrie .. I'd have been much more respectful...

Does anyone have an indicator that plots the time between tick bars?

I saw a guy using one he developed that was pretty decent. He customized the time, but essentially he was using a very quick tick chart (125) and the histogram plotted something like this: if the time between tick bars was over 30 seconds, it would plot 0, if it was 15-30 seconds between bars, it would plot yellow and at a level of 50, and any bars printed in less than 15 seconds would plot green and at a level of 100. So, you could quickly lookk down and see how fast the market was moving at any point during the day. Obviously, the time diffentials would be different for higher tick charts.

Anyone seen something like this around and available?

Cheers.
