I'm moving over to NT from TOS and one thing I really liked about TOS was that you had the option to highlight the extended sessions and it automatically grayed out those sessions for the proper times on each asset. I know there are a few indicators out there that will highlight configured times, but is there anyway to just make it highlight the appropriate times without having to custom configure the times?

Appropriate times are communicated to NinjaTrader via
-> the session template
-> or the indicator settings
Either you use a specific session template for each instrument which divides the trading day into three sections (night session, regular session and evening session) or you need to set the times manually via the indicator dialogue box.
If you want it automated, you would need to
(1) generate the session templates for the instruments that you trade
