Will NT8 provide the extensibility for a developer partner to build an Options trading interface/order ticket?

Hooks are in place to build your own trading interface however, options support at launch likely will not be supported. That being said, at some point in the future I would expect us to have full options support allowing you to develop what you wish.

NT8 Beta Schedule

@NinjaTrader

Hi Ray

Can we get an update on the beta schedule? Did you run into feature creep and add more features at the last minute?

If so can you tell us what that might be?

thanks

NinjaTrader is and will be a windows application which relies on the .NET Framework to operate and the .NET Framework is only available on Windows Operating System.

HI Ray

How does NT7 and how does NT8 (if different) handle high DPI displays (4K 3820 x 2180)?

Apparently Windows 8.1 has the following DPI application states , which one does NT7 and NT8 support?

Windows 8.1 now officially has three different states for applications: DPI-Unaware, System DPI-Aware, and Per-Monitor DPI-Aware, and solutions are in place to handle all three. It also has a fourth unofficial state: DPI-Unaware masquerading as DPI-Aware applications. Unfortunately there is no current solution for these unofficial applications.

thanks

Both NT7 and NT8 are both System DPI-Aware.

I am happy to read NT8 will support MB Trading OCO. Hooray!

There is another issue with order execution feedback being out of sequence with NT's expectation, causing desynchronizing of strategies quantity with real account quantity, has this been fixed?
