I've read that NT8 will allow access to historical data in indicator code. Will it also be able to access data in a custom bar type? I'd like to be able to query "What was total volume for the last N days" in my custom bar type code. Currently I have to go to the file system to figure it out.
Thanks.

Yes, you would be able to access historical data through custom bar type.

Hi, Ray, would be possible to add two tools on charting?

1. scale tools: when I use P&F or volume Ladder chart, the scale is always a problem

2. can you add horizontal ray? (this is not current F3 or F6), so when we draw a ray line starting form a point on chart and don't need to move the mouse up and down to make it horizontal.

thanks

All NT8 drawing tools are implemented/exposed as NinjaScript objects thus these specific drawing tools could be implemented.

NinjaTrader 8 does not support Linux.

Hopefully it will still support Windows 95

NT8 is based on .NET 4.5. There is no .NET 4.5 for Windows 95.

Hello Ray,

From the NT support forum I know there is an internal "list of possible future enhancements" with many ID#.
Maybe you could think about a user vote box for future NT development.

This "list of possible future enhancements" is visible on the website.
Every licensed NT user has 3 votes (or xxx or different number depending on license type/more votes if also NT broker customer) every month.
He can open a new ID or give his votes to ID# already on the list.

Doesn't mean that all of the ID# will implemented in the future, but it would give the company and the users a broader picture what most users really want.

Thanks

No matter how odd this might sound but would it be possible to trade on a big a$$ screen (TV) using the remote control ??

It would make trading incredibly convenient.

Actually I'm sure it's possible!

That has nothing to do with nt. simply buy a floating mouse used by teachers and people doing presentations.

Hello Ray,

Long time ago I've seen a query on NT forum about implementing Spreadsheets into platform. Has it been processed?

A good example of spreadsheets could be found on CQG platform. The idea is to have securities added on a first column and indicators on a first row. Make it look like a matrix and create the ability to generate signals according to a particular indicator values or appearance.

The idea is to able to monitor thousands of equities at the same time and switch between them in a single click. Also to have buy/sell buttons with predefined criteria.

Please let me know if you've got it, at least to some extent.

Thanks.

Our Market Analyzer can do this if I understand correctly.
