The workaround I came up with was to set Snap Mode to Price. Then press F3, click the starting point and slightly move the mouse to the right and you have a perfectly horizontal Ray. No custom coding required.
Off subject, but I'm curious whether others are able to reposition an exiting ray on a chart without going to Properties. When I draw any other object, like a line, I can drag the anchor dots to reposition it, but a ray does not let me. I have reported this to NT several times. I consider it a bug. If you have the same problem, can others report it too? It's a pain to have to delete and redraw.
