Hello House, Please I've been following up with most posts on this forum but I'm yet to make a post. But I'm happy I will be making one Now. I have a question that I need answer to. Here it goes: I realize that simulated trading for the ES is not "LIVE". The reason why I sound so assured is because if I log back in after several hours, I notice I still encounter the last candlestick before my previous logout acting as the first candlestick i.e. when I logged out market did pause for the time being. I will appreciate it if anyone can affirm this for me. I use Ampclearing and the supposed demo feed is from CQG.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Yes. It connected well.. It's not the first time.. The yellow circled bar occured before 12pm CST today and I just opened the chart, to find only 3 to four bar formation.. Again, this is not the first time it's happening. I'm close to loading my live account to start real trading, I just want to be sure, this only occurs on the demo
can you try opening a chart and right click, reload?
You can also try go to Tools > Historical Data Manager > Edit, select the data you wish to delete, right click "Delete".
I am also using the AMP/CQG demo and it is real time. Been using it for a couple of days now and have not had any problems. Attached is a screenshot with the live DOM from thinkorswim.
