I'm new of ninja trader and i was wondering if there is a way in order to see concurrently the normal price chart and the heiken ashi in separate window.
When i plot the indicator and choose to move it in new panel window, the price on chart disappear. I know this is normal but i hope it can be done like i wish. Maybe it is a simple little modification, somebody can help me?
thanks in advance
(i can't post images until i reach 5 posts, sorry)

You can use the anaHeikinAshi indicator. It has a few more options than the Heikin Ashi indicator that comes with NinjaTrader:
- Heikin Ashi candles can be plotted according to the formulae by Dan Valcu and Sylvain Vervoort
- The Heikin Ashi candles can be smoothed with 30 different moving averages.
- The indicator allows you to plot Heikin Ashi candles on top of the original bars or on a separate panel.
Exported using NT 7.0.1000.22
Modified Heikin Ashi Bars:
- Option to select between the original Heikin-Ashi bars created by Dan Valcu and the modified Heikin-Ashi bars suggested by Sylvain Vervoort.
- The Heikin-Ashi candles can be smoothed …
The chart shows original Dan Valcu candles smoothed with a 10-period simple moving average.

I'm using this heiken ashi indicator with satisfaction. I'm wondering if there is a way in order to set which one indicator put on top in case i decide to load more than one indicator in the same window panel.
I plotted a step ma in the same window panel of heiken ashi and the step ma is always in background, behind the heiken ashi indicator. I tried to manage settings but without success. I also tried to load the stepma first and then the heiken ashi indicator, but the result is the same: heiken ashi on top...
Select one of the plots with the left mouse button. Press the shift button and turn your mouse wheel until the plot is in front or behind the other plots.
