Hi,
I have the option of using either ninja trader or t4.
one of the tools that i frequently use in my trading is VWAP that appears on the DOM ladder
i have searched through but it appears that NT does not support this feature?
Please do inform me if i can see this anywhere in Ninja trader ( volume profile or cumulated volume traded at each profile)
i have searched forums for similar questions but it appears there is only an indicator, any idea how i can get it on DOM?

Also how does NT compare to T4, i am not a big fan of charting, so that wouldnt be much of a parameter in the comparison
mainly just the DOM

Thanks for your replies

Hi,
Look at 9G Trading. Have a free version for his customizable dom and you can see volume profile and delta volume. It's for ninjatrader. About t4 i can not help you.

You can get this info on the site. I'm not using it, but planning to do it. I can not help you with your questions. Nt8 will have the volume profile capabilities, but when will be ready, who knows.

@nemeis45

like @ofatrader, I would recommend the 9G dom. there're almost endless ways to customize it the way you want. vwap is also one of the most important tools I use. and I'm pretty certain if we asked nicely, the owner @1LotTrader might consider to add the vwap as an option to the dom

the free version is not time limited. like the paid version, it's a lifetime license. the only difference to the full version is, you can't use it for live trading, only sim. and in my experience, it's very stable and also very resource friendly.

here's a link to the free version (aka community edition) https://www.9gtrading.com/pages/CommunityEdition/

Was interested in looking at this, but to get a demo version, you have to make 15 posts at their forum or purchase the dom. I was going to just buy it since it's very cheap - but then when I thought about all the contributions that have been made here at nexusfi.com (formerly BMT), and the fact that I couldn't try it without making a bunch of posts at their forum, I just moved on. To be fair, I didn't request a demo directly from the site owner, and perhaps he would have complied. Upon reflection, I don't want to be bribed (by having to give information or money) in order to demo a product that I will have to buy in order to actually use.

yea the 15 posts are a bother, plus you can do only 5 per day
there should be a demo for 1 month available so all could try it out.
