Manipulate charts from strategy

In a single strategy, I can find and minimize/restore any number of already created chart windows.
I want to be able to do other things from a strategy like add a strategy or indicator to any of the charts.
(Ideally, I'd like to be able to create/configure/change/close charts programatically.)

I can programatically click the Strategy button on any chart and that brings up the Strategies selection window.
However, I cannot get it as the focus window (I've tried <chart_form_name>.Focus(), SetForegroundWindow(<chart_handle>), etc).
Despite not having focus, I'm not sure how to find and select the relevant strategy name on the form and then click the New button, etc etc to actually add the strategy.

Any advice or code to assist in any way would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks!
