I am told that you need to write your own exporting system to include a Chart Template when you export and Indi or a Strategy

Any one know how to do this or point me in the right direction

Thank you

you save your template in \Documents\NinjaTrader 7\templates\Chart then you can zip it along with ninja export zip file. Then a recipient have to unzip it and move template into correct directory, import ninja indis before apply template on to his chart. Much much more work than SC.

Thank you for that

not sure i understand what you mean by Much much more work than SC

the reason i was asking this question to start with is that a friend received an Multiple indicators, a Strategy and a template that placed itself directly in the proper template folder and i would love to be able to do the same with some of my stuff,

i read somewhere that a special piece of code can be created in order to do that and was hoping to find help on that here

again thanks for your idea
