Hi,

Does anyone know where are the 2 indicators used by Jigsaw?

They told me they are taken from BigMike's Elite Ninjatrader Indicator section, but I simply couldn't find it.

I've attached a screenshot of them, the one on the top is a volume footprint added to a tick chart, the bottom is cumulative delta:

Thanks a lot.

Lee

lol - good idea - one place I can send people to!

Price action swing is here:

People always seem to have trouble finding the latest version of the GOMI tools. To be honest, after looking around, I'm not sure myself what a newbie needs to download.

Sorry for my obliviousness, but I've always been curious what the significance of knowing how many ticks the swing was ( the positive or negative number at the end of the move )? how do you use this to trade with? Or is it just used for analysis afterwards?

Very simple - in a down move, I expect upswings to be less in both ticks & volumes than the downswings.

When that changes AND the delta puts in a significant move up, I consider the market to have reversed.

I believe the swing numbers can be used in methods that Wyckoff teaches. Check out David Weis webinar if you didn't see it yet.

Thank you very much for all your reply and help, I finally got the indicator running and setup the way I wanted. This is a terrific indicator! But I hope the owner can change its name so others can find it more easily in the Indicator section (i.e. SwingVolume).

Itchymoku, if you're interested in knowing more about price & volume, I highly recommend a book called "The Secret Science of Price and Volume" by Timothy Ord. I personally think it's a must-read for every financial trader, not just for the Futures market.

Thanks again everyone, I really appreciate your help

hey, peter mentioned that Cumulative delta is different on Thinner markets. Any idea what type of Tick Chart size to look at for Crude or other thin markets??

I see he uses 900 on ES.
