Hi

Does ninjatrader work from behind a corporate firewall? I read somewhere that ninjatrader by itself only makes http and https calls and should work. Can someone please confirm this?

Also, does the kinetic data feed work from behind a corporate firewall? Do I need to have any specific ports open?

Thanks

Check NinjaTrader.exe.config in your Program Files directory, you can probably find documentation on this somewhere on NT's help section.

Code
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<configuration>
	<system.net>
		<defaultProxy>
			<proxy usesystemdefault="False"/>
		</defaultProxy>
	</system.net>
</configuration>

Oops I misread firewall as proxy in thread title.

It depends on the firewall configuration.
It does not work behind my corporate firewall without 'holes' for several ports.
The ports for the data feed are different for each data provider.
