Hello all and thanks for the posts!

The SSI data is available through our research website ( www.dailyfx.com) and available in two ways:
1. Updated weekly on the Speculative Sentiment Index page
2. Updated twice per day on the DailyFX Plus site (login required)

Any live FXCM account holder can use their login and password to connect to DailyFX Plus.

I’m not sure if it’s possible to use the DailyFX Plus (twice-daily updated) data to display an indicator on NT; the same is true of the weekly updated data. No FXCM API or anything else will provide access to the SSI data.

I hope this helps! If there are other questions, feel free to ask!

Thanks!

Brad

That's a shame and is contrary to what Tyler said in last webinar.

Thanks for the post, Mike!

I spoke with Tyler and was able to clarify what he meant. On the DailyFX Plus website, there is a zip file that provides the daily SSI positioning data back for about 10 years. You need a live account to login and download the data. Click here to visit the login page: plus.dailyfx.com

There is no API or any way to get real-time SSI data into a chart, but the actual SSI numbers are published in two ways:
1. Updated weekly on the Speculative Sentiment Index page
2. Updated twice per day on the DailyFX Plus site (login required)

I hope this clarifies things! Sorry about the confusion!

Hello guys,

Very old topic but I believe FXCM now has an API to get SSI data real time, can you confirm and if it exists is there someone that can help making a NT8 indicator based on this?

Thanks, Ducman

Hello Brad,

I believe there is an API that provides real time SSI data but it's a paid service. At least this is the information I got when asking the question to the FXCM helpdesk.
