Hi,
I asked this question in the "Want your NinjaTrader indicator created, free?" forum and I am not getting a response for help from anyone.
I would like the CCI EMA Indicator to have the option to color the signal lines when the slope changes. There are a lot of other indicators out there that have this function (like MACD Deluxe 3.2). This is my main indicator and the color function really helps. Here is the link to the indicator; https://nexusfi.com/ninjatrader-programming/4812-ema-cci.html (Post #3)
Thanks in advance for any help.
Daniel

If that is what you are looking for you could snap the code that initiates the color change and applt it inside the cci that you prefer. That is easy for some...lol

Morning wldman,

If worst comes to worst that is what I will try to have to figure out. I have never done that before.

Here is a snapshot of what I am trying to do; 2013-06-30_0917 - dnkhoward2's library

I enjoy reading your posts.

Thanks for your help

is adaptive and smoothed using the Ehlers formula. I'm pretty sure someone will see the question and help out.

Have a great day

I have just modified the rising and falling colors of the ema plot. Please refer to the ninja indicator thread.

Regards

interesting. @Silvester17

Is there a discussion thread for that @Zondor version. I like the adaptive cycle period cci. I wonder if I can learn something here.

Yes wldman. I use the 14 period faster signal line to give me a heads up on a change in direction to get in or out of a position. The color really helps because I don't have to just rely on the slope. The cross of the signal lines is a short/possible longer term change in direction. The slower signal line keeps me in the trade longer when the fast one is jumping around. I also look for signal line/price divergence and plus/minus 200 extremes for reversals.
Thanks to you, @Sylvester17, and @panjm for all of your time and help.
Daniel

Hi Silvestor, is it possible to have the cci change color when it crosses the ema? Thank you
