Hey guys, I have just noticed that, for overnight positions/swing trades if you deactivate Ninjatrader, then restart it, it does not recognize positions in initiated when NT was enabled the last time with the same strategy, is this for real? If so, that is a serious limitation. Does anyone have a workaround?
Thanks,
EliteTraderNYC

I run NT for swing, but I leave it on. Meaning don't turn it off. In my case I use interactive brokers and they attempt to close their platform nightly. We had some posts on this forum which shows a work around using the gateway. I've mine running for months at a time. Search for my username richtobey and you will find it.
For the Battle of the Bots, Ninja is running 24/7, and is only restarted every two or three months, when I'm installing Windows updates (reboot mandatory after that)...
