Hi All,

I'm getting the following error message when trying to compile my indicators:

Indicator \@ADL.cs
The type NinjaTrader.Indicator.EDS is defined in an assembly that is not referenced . You must add a reference to assembly "NinjaScript.Ensign02.04.09.cs, version=2.0.0.5,culture=neutral,public key token = null"

Ninja support suggests that it could be a missing EDS indicator or NinjaScript Ensign DLL

Have any of you had this error message or issue? If so, please advise what I need to do to resolve this issue and be able to compile all my indicators.

Does anybody possibly have the EDS indicator DLL or NinjaScript Ensign DLL that I could try?

Please advise any suggestions.

hi,
did you shut down your system + rebooted yet ?
sometimes its a kind of a loop NT is hanging in - closing NT +rebooting OS is always worth to try as a first aid.

The error has nothing to do with @ADL.cs from what you describe.

You are missing some other indicators or .DLL's. If they are DLL's, you are missing the References.

Remove the EDS indicator from bin\custom\indicators, and contact the author for the missing files.

Mike

I re booted the machine but this did not work.

I do not have an indicator called EDS or anything similar in my indicator folder (bin).

Do you have any other ideas?

What if i restored a backup from a few days ago? Would this help?

After a lot of searching for indicators / missing indicators and DLL files, I finally found that I had an Assembly.cs indicator in my Custom (dll) section.

I removed the .cs file and compiled all indicators.

Thank goodness for that as I feared that I would have to re install NT again.
