I agree the maximize is the quickest option but then you are always flipping to see one thing then the other.
I have two charts that each have 4 dataseries with 4 different time frames (from 1 minute to 240 minute) and I just display the indicators that I have an interest in without the dataseries being displayed. I don't use these to trade on but to be the informational sources that i can quickly view and then go to a simplified chart to trade with.

The 1st chart has 1,3,5 15 minute data, the 2nd has 30, 60, 120 & 240 minute data.

Absolutely - if you're viewing several indicators it would definitely save some chart space to keep them all in one and use the transparent function.

In this case you could just set it up once and then save to a chart template, or a Workspace and you not only save time but then also can keep some windows open only for indicators.

Sure, just change your input data series type to a line on close, color it transparent. You can then load your indicator into the price panel and all you will see is the indicator itself. Easy/cheesy without being sleezy.

so i have this setup going. i have 3 instruments loaded and have 6 indicators i want to play, 2 indicators per instrument.

i have used the line on close as transparent method for the 3 data series and applied the first 3 indicators to those panels and added 3 new panels for the final 3 indicators in the order that i want them. well now i cant arrange them evenly by right clicking and selecting 'arrange all' from the right margin.

i tried to add duplicate instruments of the same time frame, 2 of each of the 3 instruments(6 total to place the indicators on) and you cant do that in the data series options. what i thought about doing was adding 3 more random instruments of the same time frame and just blank them out and direct the indicators to the correct instruments. is there a less wonky way of doing this?

dont believe anything you hear and only half of what you see

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
