Hello

I downloaded this great indicator and forgot to note the creator... ???

There is one small irk...which concerns the arrows !

The arrows are often hidden behind price bars. (screenshot)

Since the the visual parameters are fixed we can not adjust for the separation distance nor for the color of the arrows.

Can someone fix this small problem by adding the visiual parameters: ? If yes, I can export the indicator (Ninja-7)

You just need to put the study on top of the chart, someone correct me but I remember you do that by clicking on the study and using ctrl wheel mouse and change it to level 1. If you want to change the offset, it is easy, just go into the code and change the Y value for the DrawArrowUp and DrawArrowDown lines as shown here NinjaTrader Version 7. Use a multiplier to increase the separation, e.g. High[0] + 3*TickSize, or whatever you want.

The method to change what is on top is called ZOrder.
It can be done programatically (not supported by NT)
Or can be done manually like this:

To adjust the z-order:

1. Select the chart object by left mouse clicking on it
2. Hold down the "Shift" key on your keyboard and roll the mouse scroll wheel to change the z-order of the object. The current position out of the total number of levels in the z-scale will be displayed.

Does anyone have a more detailed explanation on how this indicator works? Specifically what all of the input variables control. Additionally, it presents a rather complex visual display with several lines developing at the same time any input on visually interpreting this indicator would also be appreciated.

@Fat Tails I know I'm new to the forum but would like to add my Noob appreciation for the work you and others have been doing.

It is not clear what you are talking about.

I have coded an Adaptive Laguerre Filter, which is based on the publications of Jochen Ehlers.

It does not have several lines, but just a single one.

Maybe you can point us to the indicator you are discussing here?

Thanks Lou C.

I have not loaded the indicator but looking at the code there are two lines of code in two places that are commented.

If you want to experiment with the sound remove the "//" before the lines and compile the indicator.
Here is the code lines in the indicator:

Code
//						if (WarningMode > 0 && y==mBars-1)
//							PlaySound("alert2.wav");
Since the code was commented by the author it may not work correctly so he disabled it.
I have not tried it to see if it works.
