I'm using UniRenko since a while and really like it.

I still got a little confusion I don't understand.

Two different computers, Laptop and PC. Both with NT7, both with UniRenko, both same Instrument and same data series settings, but the charts look completely different.

Both data series are set to T4R8O4, load 31 Days, use Default Instrument Settings. But yet different results.

Can you try something and see if the results are the sabe?
Load just one day and check if they look a like.. just an idea. if it works you can load a few more days..

Second idea is: save the chart you like more as a template, then open a brand new chart with the template you have saved.

Cheers,

It might simply be the difference in the two monitors?

Don't think so. On the PC (1920x..) there are ~38 bars for the whole day, on the Laptop (1320x...) there are ... I don't know, maybe 200+ for 4 hours. I don't think it is the scaling.

Can you post the indicators that you are using? I think I may have an idea of why it is happening

Pivots
SMA 89
BidAskLines (shows lines for Bid / Ask prices)
Darvas
SMA 55
Bollinger

No, same result. One day on the laptop has loooots of bars. One day on PC just has ~40 bars.

Check the settings under the Pivots indicator. They are (0,0,0,20) on one and (0,0,0,5) on the other.

Thats just the width of the Pivot lines. I already set it to 20 here, but no difference.

As I said: I only get a similar output on the PC when I set UniRenko to T1R2O1, instead of T4R8O4:

I still maintain that a large part of the difference is the difference between the resolution of your monitors,

Monitor Resolution is not chart "scaling", but resolution will affect scaling.

In an earlier post you adjusted the "horizontal scaling" by clicking on the lower scale and dragging [to the left]

Did you try dragging the Laptop scale "to the left" , and the Desktop scale "to the right"??

Thanks for your help guys!

I did check both Data Series settings and they are the same. Thats why I'm so confused, because I can't see any difference in settings but yet the output is different. I only get a similar same output on the PC when I set UniRenko to T1R2O1 instead of T4R8O4.

No. Dragging does not add or remove bars, they just get squeezed or stretched. You see the vertical Session break lines for the 24th Aug on the screenshots and the amount of bars after the new session. The amount of bars on the PC is ~40 bars for the whole day, while on the laptop there are more than 200+ bars for just 4 hours. I only get a similar output on the PC when I set UniRenko to T1R2O1, instead of T4R8O4 (Laptop).

If you cannot figure it out in an obvious way, you may have to "export" UniRenko and possibly the other indicators and "Import" them to the other platform. Also, you can use the tech support, just be aware that they will not help you with custom indicators. I agree that this is NOT likely the screen resolution.

Yea, I'm afraid I have to reset / reinstall stuff. My NT7 on the PC is quite "old" and on the Laptop I just installed it this morning.

Thanks for your effort guys! Much appreciated!
