Hello,

does anybody wants to share best unirenko setting?

It seems good setting is

trend=4
reversal=20
offset= 2

I have not found a single setting that works for every market. Good to know you are having success with your setting.

really depends on the market you trade and time frame you want to trade under. I use unirenko set to 2,2 and 6, but I am a short term trader looking for reversals.

Hi all,

I need some help. I'm relatively new to Renko charts. I am having problems getting UniRenko to work. I can get the price and volume to plot on normal time based chart, but unable to plot the historical data and volume using UniRenko. Is there something I may have missed out in configuring the UniRenko chart??? I'm using IB as my feed. I have attached a screenshot of the issue I'm facing below. Thanks in advance.

Hi

Unfortunately interactive brokers does not pass through historical tick data. You should use the continuum data to get that if you are on demo.

I was having the same problem and now I'm looking into just using ninja trader brokerage because their market data is better and the tick and time of sales are not bundled like they are in IB

Hope this helps

Thanks, I've tried the Continuum feed and it works. For anyone interested to try, it only shows 2 days worth of tick data. Looks like I need to explore alternatives like you.

I downloaded the unirenko indicator but the candles are really crowded between them. Does anyone knows how to fix this problem?

Thanks

I have seen this behaviour before..
When I add a second datasieres, even when i try to hidden it (setting same panel as first ds and setting transparent colors to candles) they behaviour like this chart you have posted.. are you sure you are not using some kind of template that references a secondary datasieres?

@NPGM,

Go into Properties (Ctrl+T). Make sure you have Equidistant Bar Spacing set to TRUE

After all, it's what you learn AFTER you know it all, that counts!
