justtrader,
Thanks for your reply. I see the code is not checking for Session start (unlike Renko in @BarsType.cs) but where do you see the 'New Bar When Exceeded' in the calculation ? Is it the hard inequality "</>" in lines 61/62 as opposed to ">=" and "<=" ?

thanks for your help !

Yes. Lines 61/62 is correct.

@gregid, @jlwade123
I agree that your interest in having 'zero offset', 'new session treatment', 'new bar on hit or exceed' will academically make UniRenko truly Universal. I wonder if you can provide some practical uses that would entice someone to spend the time and enhance the indicator.

every indicator show faster turning signal if offset is lower. if 0 offset is possible it will be best possible turning point. but maybe it not possible? only programer would know.

Leo

You don't need indicators with UNIRENKO if you keep reversal bar big enough.
Trend lines are all you need.

Plot type "Line on close"

Why do you need triple filter ?
Triple filter don't show real price.
If you keep offset and trend bar to 1 tick and
change only reversal bar then you can see real price moves.

Do you use a 1-15-1 unirenko setting?

How do you filter out the chop/fake reversal bar, or is it no possbile?

You can't filter out all chop/fake reversal bars.
But bigger the reversal bar less " fake " reversal bars.
I think if you get 7 of 10 or 8 of 10 " correct " reversal bars then its good enough.

But its up to you how many failed bars are okey for you.
