For those of you who are familiar with candle stick patterns, my favorite patterns are Hammers and Shooting Stars. Does anyone know of an indicator available that will recognize these two patterns?

Thank you

Hello @msedlak40

It's called CandleStickPattern. A default indicator If you are using NT7. Look in your indicator list.

Hope it helps,

Rick

Thanks Rick.

I tried using the one on NT, but it does not seem to recognize Hammer patterns very well. It seems to require that the bar almost close like a doji in order to recognize them. Has anyone else noticed this?

Thank you.

I haven't used it, but sierra has a candlestick pattern feature:

How that helps.
