@DrE6,

this should have what you're looking for. it also has an option to color the background. if not needed just set it to false.

edit:

I didn't read that right. sorry about that.

the following version (V2) doesn't show the vol bars. it still has the option for the background, but can also be disabled.

Would be great to have the tow options in the (v2) version.First alert above a certain level and the second alert - below a certain level.If anyone cares to assist.Would be a huge weapon in proper hands

Hi Silvester,thanks a lot!

But in this case i meant an audible alert.As per the V2 version(attached),only to add the same options(audible alert and the color mark) for the below threshold.No need for the volume histogram.Could you kindly revise it?

Thank you

I have entirely recoded the line alert indicators, which now have the following features

anaLineAlertsOnPrice:

-> alert can be selected as Cross_Above, Cross_Below or Both
-> an offset can be used, in that case the alert will be triggered before the line is crossed
-> the offset needs to be entered in ticks
-> for example if you want to be alerted when the line is touched (not crossed), you would enter an offset of 1 tick
-> the indicator has a function to trigger sound alerts and/or to send an e-mail
-> with COBC = false the sound alerts will trigger intra-bar (depending on rearm time), the e-mail alerts will only be triggered on bar close

anaLineAlertsOnIndicator:

-> alert can be selected as Cross_Above, Cross_Below, Both, Larger_Than or Smaller_Than
-> the indicator is therefore suited for indicators which display as lines or indicators which display as histograms (volume)
-> an offset can be used, in that case the alert will be triggered before the line is crossed or the threshold is reached
-> the offset has to be entered by using the indicator scale (indicators do not move in ticks)
-> the indicator has an option to trigger sound alerts and/or to send an e-mail
-> with COBC = false the sound alerts will trigger intra-bar (depending on rearm time), the e-mail alerts will only be triggered intra-bar with Larger_Than or Smaller_Than

Please report any bugs. The version attached is not the final version yet.

Dear Fat Tails,

thank you for the linealert, you did a great job. I also like very much trading and changing things from the chart.

Is it possible to have a line alert, wich can directly be moved and changed in the chart using your mouse, comparable to Ninjatrader, where you can move your take profit line to another price level for example.

Thanks in Advance

DrE6

@DrE6: There is an alert indicator, which detects manually drawn lines. I would need to check whether they still work once the lines have been moved around. The alert currently works on the price panel only and will be triggered, if any of the lines is approached by price.

Do you intend to use that indicator on the indicator or the price panel?

Thank you,Silvester,i`ll try it out.

I´ve just installed this. It works great but it is alerting on the beginning of every new bar because each new bar starts volume from zero (which is always below the lower threshold).

I´m not sure how the lower threshold would work otherwise?

Anyone give feedback on this?
