Hello all,

I am looking for a solution to adapt the order quantity in the Chart Trader automatically either by an applied ATM or by an indicator.
Is there any way to adjust the order quantity from "outside" or is the only way to do this manual by hand before entering a trade?
For background information: I'd like to trade Forex with a constant risk. Therefore the quantity depends on the selected initial stop. According to my strategy, I'd like to calculate the initial stop 1 pip below the last bar. This will then define the required quantity which must now be entered somehow into the Chart Trader input field. This should be done automatically because I trade a low timeframe and this action should happen fast.

Thanks for any ideas.

You can code an automated strategy that uses the parameters of the ATM strategy. The position sizin algorithm would be part of that strategy. Once a position is entered you would be able to manage the strategy manuallly or let it be managed by the automated strategy.

This approach would require some custom coding.
