Hello everybody,

sorry for my bad english. I try to explain what i need.

I´m searching for an bollinger band indicator with an option to chose a color for between the bands.
In the Ninja Trader Support Forum there is an indicator for the Keltner Channel with color.

How can I do this for the bollinger bands.

Thank you very much.

J.

There is a Universal Bollinger Band indicator here. It allows to create the bands from a choice selection of moving averages.

Have now updated the Bollinger Universal Indicator. Here are the features:

- The midband can be selected from a moving median, a moving mode or 27 different moving averages.

- Midband and channels can be smoothed.

- The period for the standard deviation can be different from the period for the moving average.

- The indicator has an option to display the channels or the midband individually.

- All plots can be colored according to their slope, or alternatively all plots can be colored according to the slope of the midband.

- The slope color includes a neutral slope, which can be adjusted via a threshold.

- The area between the Bollinger Bands can be shaded, shading may increase the CPU load.

The indicator can be found here:

"The area between the Bollinger Bands can be shaded, shading may increase the CPU load"

How can i do that? I only found an option to set the color according to the slope of bands/ midband. So now I set always the same color.
I want only the color in the area between bands. And if it´s possible an option to set the color of the bands and the midband seperatly.

I hope you understand what I mean. Sorry for my bad english and many thanks for your work!!

J.

The opacity of the area can take values between 0 and 10.

If you select 10, the color is intransparent, if you select 5, it is half-transparent, and if you select 0, the area is not being shaded.

I have selected 0 as the default value, because the NinjaScript method DrawRegion() can slow down NinjaTrader a little bit.

Have updated the indicator today. It now comes with paint bars. The plot can be displaced and the colors will now shift accordingly. Further the Ehlers and Gauss filters were updated, the moving mode removed, as it was too unstable.

The updated indicator can be found here:

hey guys, great job on these indicators. I noticed that the negative and positive values of these Bollinger indicators are based on the EMA/MA, do you know if it can display pos or negative based on the slope of the top or bottom band line?
