Hello
I am new to futures.io (formerly BMT) and this is my first question / post to the forum.
I have heard the statement that there was a "small change in the McLellan Oscillator suggesting a large price move in the next day or two". I am told there was one last night which may mean that there may be either a big movement (up or down) on Wednesday - possibly driven by the Fed statement on QE3...
My question is this - How do you detect a "small change in the McLellan OScillator" and has anyone coded alerts in Ninjatrader?

There was a small change yesterday suggesting a large non directional move shortly, given that the FOMC statement is wed, may just see positioning today , which if so could be a range day and end up just producing another small change, typically markets will run up into meeting, so Tuesday overnight into wed announcement

just my own opinion and observations *

http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=$NYMO&p=D&yr=0&mn=6&dy=0&id=p41651167663

I use less than 15 as being a small change , again just from observing over time

probably could be done thru ninja with adv decline and ema's but not sure how to do that either....

the raw data for standard osc is here https://www.mcoscillator.com/data/osc_data/OSC-DATA.xls but whenever I try to do the calculation for ratio adj , doesn't come out right, if anyone has or does through excel plz let me know thanx

calc for ratio adj. is here https://www.decisionpoint.com:443/TAcourse/AboutMcOsi.html

It's based on closing prices $NYA adv.dec so after around 5pm or so stockcharts will update ratio adjusted daily, symbol $NYMO
