Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.
6)

I set the initial defaults as treshold: 0.35 and period: 14 as these were the settings that worked for me the best. At the moment I still keep treshold at 0.35 but I increased the period to 15.
You need to find what works for you and keep in mind there is no ideal setting: if you keep treshold too low you will have lots of false breakout signals, too high means you may miss a good move.
Glad you find it useful

Thank you Gredid. I realize there is no ideal setup and what I meant was what is the usual threshold size. You answered my question.

Hi Gredid,

I noticed that if included in strategy and any change thereafter to the strategy parm (other indicators), removes the bars (choppy zone) from VHF.

Did you see this anytime?

Thanks,

eOne

Hi eOne

I didn't encounter anything similar. Can you reproduce it with any of the amended sample strategies provided with NT? If you could attach simple strategy to the post and exact steps to reproduce that could help.

Hi Gregid, Happy New Year !!! (I think it is still New...) Sorry for the delay. I will endeavour to get a mock for you asap.
Once the historical coppy zone is removed after any change on to the strategy, all new bars starts to plot correctly.
