Why don't you just use NT7? It works just fine and has been available for a long time. You think NT8 is the answer to your prayers? That's funny. As soon as NT8 comes out, you (and a whole host of others) will be on pins and needles waiting for NT9. It's not the software, it's the trader. Would be fine with me if they just stuck with NT7 - it does everything a trading platform needs to do for a trader to have a realistic chance at being profitable.

Have to agree with this post. If you cant make money with NT7 or anything else similar, you wont make it on an upgraded version.

I agree with that assumption. But that assumes that wanting a new and updated trading platform is all about searching for the Holy Grail. To many of us that are already making money it is about finally getting upgrades to our software that will make it perform properly.

New software just opens new opportunities. If today you are successful with nt7 it doesn't mean that you should stop searching something new.

your missing the point of my post. it is not about the software making the difference in the trader or ninja 7 not working fine. it is about a company that is making dump trucks of cash... there brokes too.. that has been draging there feet and not tell the truth for three years now. there platform needs updated .. it will not even do simple things like save tick data.... you need a 100.00 feed to back fill your tick charts. that is the point of the post...

I would be extremely worried having bought this product and using Continuum if they weren't making a truck full of money. If NT8 is taking so long to be released, so be it, much better to have a released platform that works as is intended. Especially when your own money is at stake, let alone Ninja traders money and reputation. I cant comment on the alleged lies, NT7 works fine for me. I use Marketreplay.net for my practice sessions, I use tick charts as well, 3000 tick 9000 tick and 27000 tick and I don't have any problem with opening those charts in marketreplay.net going back 12months, no matter what future contract I want to use.

Fair question.

NinjaTrader 8 beta will be released in waves (we took this approach with NT7 as well) with availability to the initial group no later than the end of April but likely sooner than that. I will provide more information as we draw nearer to that date.

Where are we at?
There's only 6 days to go before May 1st.
Have some people been given access to a beta already?

And that will be open to everyone? If not how do we become part of the beta?

It will be released to an initial group, as we have always done, it will ultimately be available to all.

How do I get in on the initial group? I was a Beta tester for NT7 and would like to be part of the NT8 beta group.
