Hey, guys!

I downloaded Ninja Trader 7 yesterday. I´ll have a free trial for 2 weeks, to test it.

I´m doind simulated trading, using simulated data feed. I don´t know why, but every time I open one chart, the chart appear blank. No prices, no candlesticks, no prices. Everything I try to do (lines, etc) it does nothing!

So I ask: am I doing something wrong?

Thanks

Did you make sure that Ninja Trader is connected to a data feed, even a simulated ?

Or maybe you have to reset the chart if you discover a small letter "F" in the right corner on top of your chart...

Yes, I connect to "Simulated Data Feed".

When I click da "F", it remais the same...!

When I open a YM chart, it shows the price from 0 to 1. If I try to move up, the price won´t change...

So I ask: am I doing something wrong?

Maybe you have not connected to your data provider.

You should be able to download data from the replay server:
FILE
UTILITIES
DOWNLOAD REPLAY DATA

Then pick and instrument and a date and download the data.

Then:
FILE
CONNECT
MARKET REPLAY CONNECTION.

Choose the day you downloaded.

Click the PLAY button on the replay window and the chart should start moving.
Make sure you have a chart that was created with the same symbol of your data.

It sounds like you have not setup your data feed.

It looks like you are using Optimus? So just email Matt and I am sure he will help you get it setup.
