does any one know if it is possible to plot Min/Max charts like those in Oanda for NT?
this is what min/max chart is :
The Min/Max chart plots the minimum and maximum prices for the interval chosen. The upper boundary represents the maximum ask price, while the lower boundary represents the minimum bid price.
The Min/Max chart is different from the Closing Price chart because minimum and maximum prices may not be the opening and closing prices for that interval.
and attached is how it looks like
Best regards.

Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
two possible way with NT7:
- a custom indicator "overpaint" and replace the org. chart (comperable NT7 HeikinAshi indi)
- a custom chart style "direct paint" the channel
- as addon this concept can work for HiLo-Channels and Open/Close Channels
many thanks, how do i "paint it" over to get the same look as Oanda charts (without having to see the bars)? The high boundary is the max bid price and the low boundary is the min ask price too?
no option to paint (paint above, paint below, paint by slope, paint by +/- etc...) exist in Ninja all have to be done thru programming unlike SierraChart.
many thanks for your help. Minmax charts are pretty interesting and so far i only saw it in Oanda. MT4 is not possible as most brokers dun keep historical ask/bid prices.
You are welcome, I will tell you my Indicator only runs real-time. I don't know if the GOMI persistence has anything like this features, but I know that tool keeps the Ask/Bid data. My indicator was only to show the range during real-time (or replay). You are still welcome to use the real-time indicator until you find something better.
For "min/max" using as "bid/ask" to plot band values for a bar, its no need gomi's exact bid/ask historys. NinjaTrader can do this nearly exact (1sec timestamps) with a band, calculated as QuoteByQuote based on two 1"tick" dataseries for bid&ask...
If I have time I will try to set this up before uploading it. I think I understand what you are saying. Setup a Multi-Timeframe indicator where the 2nd & 3rd time frame are the 1 Sec Ask & 1 Sec Bid time series.
