Can anyone help provide me the sound alerts for the indicator: ADXVMA_Alerts.
When the up and down arrows appear it uses:
Train.wav
and
alarma_submarino.wav
When I downloaded it didn't come with these alerts and I would really like to have them.
THis indicator is working really well for me.
Hope someone can help me out with this.
Thank you,
Rachel
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I saw your post and thought I would try to help. Generally in an indicators settings section as you can see in my screenshot you can change the .wav file NT7 uses to whatever .wav file you wish as long as that .wav file exists and is in PCM format inside your C:\Program Files\NinjaTrader 7\sounds directory. Any of the default sounds within this directory could be chosen by clicking on the .wav file inside the indicators setting section and replace it by typing a new .wav name in its place then save the setting. Try that and it will likely work.
There are some cases were the sound file is not user selectable. You mention you are using ADXVMA_Alerts indicator and there are a number of different versions of this indicator floating around and I do not have that particuliar one however I have attached ADXVMAalertsV0151 which is I believe one of the more recent versions and with it I have attached the associated sound files it uses. Simply unzip the sound files into C:\Program Files\NinjaTrader 7\sounds. Also I have attached a screenshot of the indicator on a chart and its settings so you can decide if you would like to install it in your NT7 as well.
to create your own PCM format .wav file and name them the same as the files you are seeking (Train.wav and alarma_submarino.wav) and place the files in your C:\Program Files\NinjaTrader 7\sounds directory. By doing this no changes need to be made from your current indicator settings but the audio alerts will now work.
I also believe I recently saw an optimized version of ADXVMA created by @Zondor in the downloads section. These optimized versions of indicators provided by @Zondor will perform much better than the ones they are replacing you may want to check it out.

post 128.
Gab provides a link to download the "Price Action Swing" indicator for NT7.
I really like this indicator and would like to get the sound alerts.
Can anyone provide the sound alerts:
ABC_Long_Entry.wav
and
ABC_Short_Entry.wav
?
Also Mike, it would be great if you could put this in the download center for NT7, along with the CDV indicator provide by Gab on the same page.
Also, somehow we finally got a download for the Ross Hook indicator, and if you go through the thread, you will finally find, the one that functions, I post Eureka!
I am sure your members and future members, would appreciate these indicators.
Thank you so much Cory for helping me.
Could you give me instructions to where to place these sound alerts:
I have been looking in NT7 and can't seem to find the sound alerts file.
Ok, I figured out how to paste those sound alerts in NT, go through the c drive,
to program files, to NT7 to sounds. Just in case anyone else wants to paste
those sound alerts in.
Thank you again Cory for all you do, it is very much appreciated.
This is one of the first indicators I like here on futures.io (formerly BMT).
I put it on a 2 min chart for CL and I found in sim, it got me some winning trades.
I didn't pursue it because I decided to study how Gary trades CL and then Gab and have
combined there strategies, which is still evolving for me.
