How to Identify Annoying Sound Alerts in NT7? Having several Workspaces open using the same template including a bunch of indicators, keep hearing this annoying door bell sound alert. I have checked all the indicators for any sound alert settings, but no luck. I know the process of elimination will work, but this annoying sound alert disappears for a while then comes back, no telling when will it come back, driving me crazy. If I know the .wav file name, I will delete it.

Go to the NT sounds directory and play each file until you find it. Then just rename it if you are desperate

Thanks Silvester17, Alert4 rings a bell now What do you mean by "locate it with the alert window"? Do you mean on the list of parameters (true, false), or list of sound files?

all those ringing bells. lol

if you go to: file, new and alerts, you'll get the following window:

if you hear the annoying alert, check that window. maybe with help of the time and name, you'll be able to locate the indicator.

@Silvester17,

You are the MAN and the life saver. This is definitely the trick for finding the culprit. It's funny, in all these years I have never used this feature in Ninja. I'm going to look and see what else I have been missing.

Thanks a whole bunch!!!

If you cannot find your sound alerts immediately, you have applied too many indicators to your charts and should clean them up.
