Mike,

I see you posted swingtemp indicator in the download section.

I like this indicator, but I had a problem with it NT's version.

If I leave it on the charts 24 hours a day, my computer slows down and seizes up after 36 hours.

Can anyone else confirm this?

Interesting. I've not seen this behavior. But I am using the large address hack so if it's a memory leak or similar then I wouldn't be as susceptible as a non-hacked NT user.

I only run it on one chart, and it's my "big" chart so has the fewest bars on it. I usually only have about 7 days of history. What about you?

It seems to be a forward moving problem.

It does not seem to be affected by historic data being accessed.

It was such a problem I had to abandon this indicator.

Yes I know what you are saying, but how long is your historical period? If it is large you might try reducing it to confirm your suspicions.

Did you monitor taskmgr to see what the NT memory usage was doing when you were exhibiting the problem? Mine has been running SwingTemp on a chart for about 24 hours and my memory usage is 330MB for NT.

I usually shut down NT once a day because I want Market Replay dates to be semi-correct, so I can't really comment on what happens @ 36 hours and likely won't be able to.

Rebooting is probably the way to go.

Hello,
I'm trying to load SwingTemp on NT7 (it's the version that was on NT's forum) and I'm getting an error. I sent it to NT and they said they are getting the same error and that I'd need to PM you. Do you know what might be going on with this?
Many thanks,
Mike
