How to set the line thickness programatically on a plot.

My automated strategy includes plotting a line on the chart. I can set the color and style of the line but I cannot set the line thickness programatically. Making this change manually each time I run the strategy is a real pain. Does anyone know the code to adjust the line thickness parameter to 3? I appreciate the help.
