I am writing a strategy that places limit orders when certain conditions are present. Prior to placing a new limit order, I want to determine if there are any existing open orders working and, if so, to cancel them. Can anyone suggest the code for doing this? Your help is appreciated.

I think you can do it with the IOrder object that is returned when the original order is entered.

Something like this:

private IOrder iOrder = null;

iOrder = EnterLongLimit( price, "Long Limit");

if ( iOrder != null && iOrder.OrderState == OrderState.Working )
{
iOrder = CancelOrder( iOrder );

iOrder = EnterLongLimit( newPrice, "Long Limit" );

}

You can also try to use
CancelAllOrders()
