I can't take take the crashes anymore. I have nearly nil 3rd party indicators, a very powerful dedicated PC and just dragging the mouse in a chart window causes crashes. At wits end.

NT8? I'm absolutely loving it, its runs 6 days a week, 24 hours a day. Overall a great product compared to NT7, i really hope i don't see the issues other are complaining of though. I do use a work around at start up that was posted in the Indicator area for NT8 on nexusfi.com here under "A notice to all downloaders"

I'd like to see the old scatter graph of trades in the trade performance analysis....can't seem to find it.

In addition to the MultiBroker license, the additional feature called "Account Groups" is a very important feature for me. Please add those missing features to NT8.

as versatile as NT7 is, it does not currently allow parameter optimization with Sharkindicators (Blackbird/Bloodhound) third party indicators or Matlab.

although Sharkindicators hasn't rolled out the NT8 version yet, it would be great to have NT8 build the capability into the new strategy analyzer to enable parameter optimization capabilities to Bloodhound/Blackbird/Matlab.

I'd like premade Chart Layouts.
For example 6 equal sized charts.
Or
1 large chart, with 3 smaller charts below.
Or
Other

This is common in many platforms. Nt should add it as to be competitive.

I'd definitely like the Y axis highlight.
I would Suggest that you allow option of the numbers on Y axis showing.

This can be found similarly in Fibonacci feature in nt8

I've seen one person request in 2013 to have a drawing toolbar on the chart so that lines and other goodies can be drawn on the chart. It's totally bizarre to have to go through two menus to get to the drawing tool of the choice. Almost all trading software have this feature. Even Ninjatrader 7 had it I think. Is this there any chance of this happening in NT8?

As I recall, it was coded by a FIO user. I don't think NT7 ever had it natively.

I agree it would be a good addition, and I don't know why it's not there.

In the meantime, I have just gotten used to using the keyboard shortcuts, which I really don't care for that much, but they work (unless it's a tool that you hardly ever use and don't know the shortcut for....)

I hope they add it, or someone else does it as a user-coded addition.

Bob.

Thanks! I should have done a search first....

Update: I also see that both authors mention that their code is for a new version of NT and may need additional work in future. I think that some caution is a good idea for any ambitious project for NT8 at this point, since the actual platform is still being worked on and still has some issues.

So I am glad to see that the need has been addressed, but I don't think I am going to install either of these just yet. The good news is that something is out there, and we will all get better at building add-ons over time, and the platform itself will get better, and has.

there's also a shortcut toolbar as an add-on:
