Is it possible to add a horizontal line at last trades price on the chart -- and just make that a standard button? an ON/OFF button for that?


Also is possible to ADD BUTTONS on the the TOOLBAR - FOR:
~~GLOBAL CROSSHAIR TIME SCROLLING
AND
~~ ALLOW THE SELECTION OF DRAG AND DROP OF CHART SERIES

End of Q3...no signs of the beast. Will NT8 be a Christmas present now ?

When in Chart Trader for example, show unrealized profit on the screen when hovering the cursor at a price point, editing the number of positions involved etc. This will greatly assist in making decisions when putting up stops or flattening positions etc. Thanks

1. After adding an indicator to a strategy have that indicator's parameters automatically added to the strategy's parameters.
2. Add ability to edit an indicator's parameters in realtime and have the changes affect the plots on the chart at the same time. For example, for the SMA indicator I added a windows form with a slider control linked to the period parameter and added code to recompute and update the Plot values on the chart. I am not sure that the best way to do it and if there is a better native way to implement such functionality.

Not sure any new wish would be taken into account by @NinjaTrader for the upcoming release. Hopefully, some ideas can be maintained for future version releases

1) I wish the Market Replay data folder/files tree would be organised the same way than the Historical data folders/files tree, with folders sorted by instruments, not dates.
Right now, the Historical replay data files are sorted by instrument folders while the Market Replay data files are sorted by calendar dates folders.
When it comes to sharing Market Replay data to trader friends for one instrument at a time, the MR data sorting is a disaster and cannot be handled easily. You have to separate the targeted instrument files within each date folders, making it a no-go operation very unpractical.

2) Some CFD brokers are now starting to quote their CFDs with 3 decimals instead of only 2, in the same manner than HalfPip or TenthPip for currency instruments (aka forex) have been handled over time. Consequently, the quotes can now be of this type xxxx.xx'x
The 3rd decimal is then separated from the 2nd decimal with less emphasis, adding precision instead of instant reading confort.
Therefore I hope Ninja 8 will extent the TenthPip support beyond the Currency instruments' type, to CFD instruments' type also, in order to match the real world evolution In advance, not late !

When I set my FX chart data settings from half pip to full pip increments, then after a bar close I often see the high or low of the bar change. It seems like intra bar it is still moving in half pips and after bar close it is correcting it to a bar in full points. In NT8 I would like to see a way so that the chart it is printing the right bar in full points right away.

Important Request To make Ninja Faster and easier to use/trade manually

I know we talked about being able to VERTICALLY SCROLL the chart by pressing and holding the CTRL KEY

WELL >> Can we also add the ability to set A KEYBOARD SHORTCUT/HOT KEY that we just press it and the chart price panel goes up like 30 % or something like that...

THAT WOULD BE excellent if we have to quickly place an exit order higher up in the chart -- just hit that button and the price pane moves up. And another one for Vertical Scroll down of course.

The other thing that is very missing is a KEYBOARD SHORTCUT for going back to fixed scale and end of chart.


Like for example >> I need to put that order very high in the chart >> So I hit this new Keyboard Shortcut the screen goes up >> I place the order and then hit the go back to fixed scale.

This IS MOST USEFUL for people that trade with a KEYBOARD on one hand and the MOUSE on the other.

So we have a bunch of good keyboard shortcuts on the left hand and the Mouse on the right

We should just be using the mouse for placing orders

I would like to see support for trading options on futures contracts.

It would list strike prices for call and put options, ask, bid and last, points, and so on.

Would like to see a click "override" on the SuperDOM.
Currently have the choice of "show confirm" dialog or not show it.
Would like to have 3rd choice of "show confirm" as default but, say, Shift+click acts as "don't show confirm"
