I wish NinjaTrader team will FINALLY after 14 years fix the bug of Extended hours time trading with TD Ameritrade not working. It's a simple fix to the adapter to add
the option 'EXT' to the TIF order field (currently have only DAY or GTC) the addition needs to be 'EXT' or 'AM' or 'PM' or 'GTC+EXT' - SO SIMPLE (i'm a senior .net programmer myself) and now over 14 YEARS and NT8 didn't find the time to fix it.....
Multiple chart pane screen templates like ThinkorSwim has were you can set a screen chart template of 1-12 panes of charts with linking by symbol or time frame.
Trading: 6C (Low Margin,) 6E, CL, GC, ES and Maybe DX for smaller tick value

@Tradarr, Maybe I am missing on the 1 - 12 part. But you can already link charts using the 2 grey bars at the top of a chart on the right hand side next to the minimize/maximize symbols.
I think he may mean like a precut template of 8/12/16 small windows, etc, so you dont have to try and fit 16 small screens into the large monitor frame. Just something I have thought as well, but never brought up.

Just wondering if any will be introduced or just like talking to the wall in "Ask Me Anything" thread...
1. Can we have the date of the currently displayed bar(s) on the toolbar - as it was in NT7?
2. Current status of data being loaded showing in Control Centre bottom - another missing feature from NT7.
Very often NT8 is getting locked while updating and not showing any info what is happeningin the background - and for how long...
When I am working in Ninjascript near the bottom of the page and pause in the middle of typing something, the window helpfully highlights what it considers an error in the code.
It also very UNhelpfully covers the line I am typing on so I have to scroll to see what I'm typing.
I just want the line with the cursor to be bumped up so it is NOT COVERED by the error alert.
Should be a very simple change and it would eliminate a lot of little annoyances.
Images show what I mean.
P1 shows the window with no error.
P2 shows what I typed and paused on.
P3 shows how the window responds, covering the spot where I was typing.
P4 shows what I WANT it to do, instead, which is to say, bump the line up that I am typing on so I can see what I'm doing (and continue to type).
