I use readily available comercial softwre for charts and this is what i can do very easily with one click !
set x and y constant relationship
bars x vales range
automatic
independent
same as region
constant range
constant ragne scale modes
top of range
bottom of range
scale padding percentages
linear or logarithmic
my point is that no one will program it because it is a huge endedavor to change scaleing if it is not already built into the program and would not be possible. if you look around and call some software vendors and tell them what you are looking for then they will tell you the capability.
nothing you come up with has not already been looked at and dealt with because graphical data has been exploited for 50 years and squaring will not
be the diffrence of profit and loss in a fast paced easy access environment
good luck on your search but look around and switch before thinking a software vendor will have the time or energy to give you
exacatly what you want
i am not sharing who i use because i had to go put time and work into finding what i needed and you know what that does? it stops
all the short cuts and those short cuts end up robbing you of knowledge that maybe useful in the future.
what you are speaking of is not rocket science but if you want it then look for it and you can and will find it! just ask for a 2 or 3 day demo and make sure
it is exactly what you want before you buy
