Trying to transfer my system over from MT4 to NinjaTrader 7 but I have two minor tweaks I cannot seem to find the solution for yet.

I need a simple opening range box from the close of NY to the pre-open of London.

With that "ORB" I plot fibonacci extensions but the fib extension tool in MT4 and Ninjatrader are based on a different concept and I am not sure how to adjust. The MT4 version just requires the high and low but the Ninja version requires a 3rd plot which doesn't make much sense (or necessary for my purposes)

My MT4 chart looks like this:

(the first photo in the post, I cannot post a photo yet because of board restrictions for newbies)

As notated, I trade the 161.8, 261.8 and the 423.6 levels.

So how would one go about adjusting the extension levels on the NinjaTrader fib tool to match the MT4 version?

There is some confusion about Fibonacci expansions, extensions or projections. Everybody calls them in a different way. NinjaTrader has two tools

-> Fibonacci Retracements (use for retracements and expansions, which are retracements over 100%)
-> Fibonacci Extensions (use for measured moves and projections)

You just need to use the Fibonacci Retracment tool and add some expansion levels. See chart attached.

with the fib retracement tool you should be able to do that:

Have several indicators that draw opening range boxes. You would need to specify

-> which is your opening period (the period you take the high and low from)
-> where you want to draw that box (start -- : -- EST, end --:-- GMT)

thanks everyone, I got the fibs all sorted out.

now on to the next issue. how to adjust the chart time according to another time zone. I live in Asia so I don't want my charts resetting on my new day but on the European markets new day.
