These are questions all pertaining to the higher TF.

You listed 5 possible trend states:
-Strong Trend with upward bias
-Strong Trend with downward bias
-Weak Trend with upward bias
-Weak Trend with downward bias
-Pure Sideways

So for example you listed conditions for strong trend with upward bias as:
cond 1 :macd (34,89) above 0 and is higher than previous value....
cond2 : e89 is below accl lower band...
cond3 : close > accl band high

Is this correct for the other two?
Weak Trend with upward bias = 89 inside accl with 34ma > 89ma and black ema(on white background)
Pure sideways = bband2 inside accl and white ema (on white background)

strong up / down trend is when EITHER of the 3 conditions is filled.
cond 1 :macd (34,89) above 0 and is higher than previous value....
cond2 : e89 is below accl lower band...
cond3 : close > accl band high

weak uptrend is when
e89 is inside bb20,2 and e89 is inside accl band and e34 is inside bb20,2 and e34 is inside accl band
and
macd(34,89 ) is above 0 and lower than that its previous values.(for weak uptrend)

pure sideways is when
bb20,3 inside accl band
and
macd(34,89 ) is lower than that its previous values.
and
e89 inside BB20,2 and e89 is inside accl band

preferred entry zone are : irrespective of which phase we are
e34 ema when e34 is black (white background)
bb20,2 when e34 is white (white background)

pure sideways is when
bb20,3 inside accl band
and
macd(34,89 ) is above 0 and lower than that its previous values.(for weak uptrend)

Need clarification on the sideways. I understand it when the bb20,3 inside the accl band.

But I do not get the condition for the MACD?

Forgive me, but the MACD condition still doesn't seem right?

It seems you would need to seperate conditions for the MACD as it pertains to price being sideways.

I.e. if MACD > 0, value would need to be lower than previous value.
if MACD < 0, value would need to be higher than the previous value.

I think u r right...!

MACD (34,89) above 0
means ema34 is above ema89
macd(34,89) value is greater than its previous value means the gap between e34 and e89 is increasing, hence highly bullish scenario, we wont look for shorts.

converse for bearishness.

for sideways...
we need 2 conditions filled i.e.

bb20,3 inside accl band :: means the 95% of trading range (BB20,3) price is not showing acceleration in any direction.
and
e89 inside BB20,2 and e89 is inside accl band

I was thinking of adding a new dimension to the sideways phase by using the ADX as a qualifier.

Condition is :

ADX(10) is below 20 and adx (10) < PDI (10) and ADX (10) < MDI(10)

what do u think...?

Not sure? Here is a big TF overview of a few locations over the past week or so of trading days. Highlighted the areas where ADX is less than 20(verical lines with red horizontal in between).

YOu don't think the BB being inside the accl is sufficient?

Also, I'm not sure what those other values you mentioned are:

PDI or MDI

@linkon7

Here is a look at the chart with the conditions you describe. The dots are just on the chart while the various trends are sorted out as TEMPORARY visual aids to show what the conditions are telling us. You can see that there is overlap between some of the conditions.

The conditions in the script now are:

Quoting
strong up / down trend is when EITHER of the 3 conditions is filled.
cond 1 :macd (34,89) above 0 and is higher than previous value....
cond2 : e89 is below accl lower band...
cond3 : close > accl band high

weak uptrend is when
e89 is inside bb20,2 and e89 is inside accl band and e34 is inside bb20,2 and e34 is inside accl band
and
macd(34,89 ) is above 0 and lower than that its previous values.(for weak uptrend)

for sideways...
we need 2 conditions filled i.e.

bb20,3 inside accl band :: means the 95% of trading range (BB20,3) price is not showing acceleration in any direction.
and
e89 inside BB20,2 and e89 is inside accl ban
