Steve,

I don't know if you figured this out already but here is what I think you were talking about...I also included a Volatility Sensitivity parameter to further control the stops...and also ability to paint the pullbacks as hollow bars...Hope this helps..

- Kash

kashman,

I attempted to set the GOMIVolumeLadder as shown on your chart, but I only got the normal GOMI "BIG-chart type" (you know what I mean ?). Your GOMIDeltaVolume also seems to be set differently from the normal/default settings. Please, can you share your settings for these two indicators.

Do you "hand-draw" those arrows that seem to indicate the Pullbacks ?

Sure Lolu,

The settings are attached here...Since Left ladders are turned off so not shown here... Those arrows are something I am playing with...a confluence of StepMA, HMA and EMA (in the direction of the trend only)...

You set the background color of GOMIVolumaLadder to "Silver" to rhyme with the background color of your chart, Right ? I have a black background, so I've set the background color of the GOMIVolumaLadder to "Black"; Am I right ?

The "hollow bar" should suffice.

Lolu - Yes you are right about the background...!

Holy Grail - As far as the arrows for the pullbacks go...they can be added but will make the chart quite cluttered..especially the range charts.. in my opinion.. Let me know if you really want them...I will add them for you...

Thanks Kash.

That looks like it might be the answer. I will load it up and get back to you.

Thanks

Hi Kash,

Have done some initial testing and this indicator is basically spot on.

I have attached a screen image and circled several bars as I cannot understand why these bars have not 'painted' yet all the others have.

I quite like your logic for applying the 'hollow' feature. Originally I was looking for the 'hollow' to be applied to all 'up' bars. Your logic applies it to 'pullback' bars - once I started using it I got used to that logic.

Thanks for your help.

Steve - If you refresh the chart those bars should be colored as expected...right? I think it is because the VStop logic has to wait for the aTRperiod bars to calculate the stops - otherwise it's logic gets screwed...

I have set my CalculateonBar option to True as I don't enter a trade till the bar closes anyways...but I can imagine folks wanting that option to be set as False.. I don't know how to make it more robust as it should be.... I wonder if any big guns of the NT programming can help us mere mortals here...
