most likely there something wrong on my chart settings. However it appears that some divergences are not plotted correctly.
They are shown on the attached chart, where they are referred to MACD(5, 34. 5), bottom panel.
Is it perhaps because range bars should not be used with this indicator?

How do i access the tick price change and duration on each swing? I would like to add swing value calculation of price change over time rate and volume over time rate to be able to display on chart. for NT8

Does anyone know of an indicator that will take the "X" number of swings from this indicator and make an avg. move?

@Big Mike, may I request you put out a notice asking posters to be explicit whether their request is for NT7 or NT8. It is getting tiring to have responders having to ask OR to answer for both just in case.

@fxpro312, If you are using NT7 PriceActionSwing Pro there is a statistic component that puts a button on the top that lets you show statistics. It figures the average length of all the swings and shows the last length. There is no option for limiting the number to calculate on. So you could try to put code in to limit it to your number of swings.

Unfortunately I am fairly sure that is not in the NT8 version but I could be wrong - do not have time to test right now.

@ericson, the top item Swing values gives you those options. Make "Length" "Price_ticks." That should give you the number of ticks. Duration can be changed to multiple variations of time including minutes or down to seconds.

These are for the auto calculated swings. There is no way to set a timing period to calculate swing info.

Plus pretty sure there is no statistics in the current Pro version.

I want to know about the automatic signals. how does these signals work? what are the difference bettwen them? i marked it in the graph.

Also, how does the hidden divergence work?

Am I missing something. Is the only way to instantiate this indicator in Ninjascript is to populate all these values manually??

Can anyone share the default initialization params?

I couldn't get divergence to work. Throwing an exception at the following line:
swingLow.LastBar was equal to CurrentBar, therefore CurrentBar - swingLow.LastBar - 1 was equal to -1 which is an invalid index.

On the rare occassion it does work - it doesn't seem to actually plot correctly, it says its a divergence when it clearly isn't. I'm using MACD by the way.

Hi guys,

Hope I'm posting to the right thread. Also there are so many pages to this thread I couldn't get very far to see if my question has been answered.

I just installed the PriceActionSwing as I'm just learning and man what a fantastic tool!

I think I might have messed up somehow tho...

I installed the NT8 version and during installation NT asked if I want to replace certain files. Since NT had newer versions of this file I chose to NOT replace.

During operation, I am able to add the PriceActionSwingPro perfectly and make the adjustments that I like, however when I go back to make any changes to the Indicator it is no longer in my 'Configured' list!

Did I mess things up by not installing the files initially? Am I not supposed to be using PriceActionSwingPro? I will pay to unlock if it is necessary. I just don't see where to do this. If this is a totally free indicator, I'd like to donate something if I can find out how lol
