Cal,

Thanks for highlighting how to use the Market Analyzer in determing AB=CD formations.
I will look at putting together a template. Really appreciate your detailed reply.

I gather the PriceActionSwing Pro indicator will not trigger audio alerts from the chart.
Is it only to be used in conjunction with a Market Analyzer ?

@Aregon

There may be a way to trigger the audio alerts from PASPro....but I've never tried using it that way so I just set it up using the Market Analyzer. I checked the parameters and it seems to me like you should be able to get the audio alerts from just PASPro. Did you put the wav files here? C:\Program Files (x86)\NinjaTrader 7\sounds
I can't remember if dorschden provided the sound files or not. What I did is just create my own audio files and then pasted them in the above \sounds file and it works in MA. I'll test it out and see if I can get it to work on just the indicator also.

Cal,

I have created the wav files and placed them in the NinjaTrader Sounds folder but I have not been able to get it to work on my computer.
Other NT audio alerts work fine.

I would appreciate if you could let me know if it works on your system - Thanks !!

I am trying to produce a very little strategy with strategy wizard and I cannot find my mistake.

With market analyzer I get three different states: 1, 0, -1

I am just now only trying to put this states as a basic in a strategy, if 1 = playing a wav.file, if 0 another, if -1 a third.
Later I want to put there orders in trend direction in, but for finding my mistake I thought sound file could be enough.

Can anyone tel me what to define that the oscillator could give results?

I add the cs.file created from strategy wizard, I also add screenshots of market analyzer and preset pf market analyzer.

Who could help me?

Thank you!

Hi,

I am using the PAS-Oscilator in my Marketanalyser on daily charts, but I have a problem with the lookback period, for example, when an DoubleTop occured. If this happend 10 Bars/days ago it will show up in my MA, but I don't need it. Is it possible that the MA only shows DT/DB/Etc when they are a maximum of 5 bars ago?

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

Sándor

I take the PriceActionSwingOscillator with all standard settings as it comes in last download, settings choose indication = trend, trend change = true or fals (trying both). Can anyone kindly help me to put it in a strategy? Or has anyone created a strategy with and could give me samples I can learn from? I will take any help I can get. ))

First of all, thanks for your reply.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the # of bars lookback you mention here is the amount of bars that the script wil look back and calculate if there has been HH/HL/DT/Etc within that range. So if the 'first Top' will fall out of that range, then it will not show a DT later on.

What I really mean is: if the DT for instace happened more then 3 bars ago, then I don't want to see it in my MA.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
