You can set the rest to false and just have the hh, hl... Plot. That's what I do.

Hey everyone! Was wondering if the DT/DB text alert on the indicator will disappear the bar after it is alerted? In other words, does it repaint after the bar it is alerted on ends? Thanks so much!

Is there a way to obtain a sort of counting that calculates only the bars that closed upper / lower versus the previous bars?

So you want to sees an enumeration of 1...2...3...4 only to those bars within a swing sequence, skipping the bars that closed at pair of the previous close, or lower close in un upleg sequence and vice-versa for a downleg sequence.

Hi,

I'm looking for simple version of PriceSwingAction producing 4 price value outputs( HH,HL,LH,LL ) instead of labels.
Someone mentioned it might be named as PriceActionSwingHighLows. I would appreciate you for your help in advance.

WAHN

Not sure if Dorschden still visits this thread, so would appreciate if someone could clarify something for me please. So far I have read up to page 24 of the thread and I can't still figure out:

1. What the volume value refers to, is it the total volume (or average volume) from one swing high/low to another?

2. With regards to the percentage, percentage of what? Is it the percentage of the current volume compared to the previous volume or to the average daily volume or what?

I have attached an image of a chart below to make my questions easier to understand.

Many thanks.

Dan

Dan,

I am pretty sure you are correct on the volume. It is the volume of the wave or swing as you have drawn. I am also pretty sure that the % reading is the percentage of retracement of the prior swing.

David

David, thanks for your reply. You state: "I am also pretty sure that the % reading is the percentage of retracement of the prior swing."

Which figures would you be referring to here? (3236/1136) x 100 gives 284.9%. (3236/5536) x 100 gives 54.5%

Thanks
Dan
