***great indicator****===>i use the settings above,,,but the INSTRUMENT column backlights a flashing YELLOW ...i do not understand this feature...what does it represent?

....also, to approximately see price action(relation&trend), for a 3 day period...what adjustment or setting should be used?

statistic number of swings?swing size?...and what is the MAXIMUM Double top/-bottom strength value you can use?

Hey David,

Just curious how you use this indicator.

It occured to me that using two of them......one set to 1 and the other set to 0 might be useful.

Thanks, Jeff

Jeff,

How are you achieving the double-shaded coloring on the MACD panel. Just curious, as this is something I've played with, too. Thanks!

After all, it's what you learn AFTER you know it all, that counts!

Hey Wiz,

I add the indicator twice......once with the background on conservative "true" and the second with the background on conservative "false."

Best of both worlds.

I believe this is what you are talking about........if I missed something let me know.

Jeff

On a side note........I do not believe that the MACD BBLineV4 "smoothing" is working properly. Could you check this out and see if you agree? It plots the same no matter what it is set on.

Thanks. That's what I thought you were doing. Same approach I took.

As to the smoothing, I think FatTails responded to this, in another thread. The smoothing doesn't seem to have any effect, no matter what the setting. Haven't taken the time to investigate or do anything about it. Maybe PM FatTails & ask him???

I did import priceswingaction indicator, I was able to plot slow fib extansion and fib retracement.
How do I plot the fib circulars and fib vertical? As shown in this attachment posted on futures.io (formerly BMT)
Why do we need fib verticals if trying to measure ab=cd
Does it filter out weak retracements? and why?
Where do I learn more about it?
What chart does it work best on? range, ticks, minutes?
Whats the difference between zigzagutc and priceswinaction ?
Don't they plot the same counts, fibs and zigzags?
I hope someone have the time to reply, I know so many questions sorry.
Which indicators are recommended with priceactionswing for confirmation?

Same questions go for me as well, most of the time I get a graph like following:
I can very very rarely spot ABC patterns or retracement points..
Which settings I need to wrestle with?
Please do help dear PAS masters

Check out the most recent webinar by Suri Duddella on Advanced ABC Chart Patterns. It is very good. He also has a book out, but I havenit had a chance to read it.
