I am unable to import the indicator into Ninja. I get a "probably corrupt" error message. Any Suggestions? Thanks

Thanks Dorschden and all for the great work and help!

Was wondering if the oscillator can be easily modified to show the swing sizes as a histogram?

Many thanks

I added a histogram to the bottom of the price panel. Numbers are a bit rough but histogram works fine. I'll try to upload it by EOD tomorrow (traveling at the moment).

PAS with swing length histogram

Here's the indicator with a histogram added. I borrowed the idea for adding a bottom graphic from @devdas (along with some chunks of code). I also incorporated @gomi 's Hotkey framework to add these hotkeys:

Ctrl-X toggles display mode (off, on, on with numbers)
Ctrl +/- increases or decreases graphic height.

There's an extra "Bottom Graphic" section in the parameters for the other options.

Hi @futuretrader,

Thank you for modifying priceactionswing by adding the swing length histogram.

I noticed that you are using a previous version of PAS, dated
24.09.2012
as shown in the indicator header.

The latest version in the download section is dated:
10.10.2012

Specifically, @dorschden fixed a bug

"
October 10 2012:
- Fixed volume bug - volume bigger than Int32
"

This bug if not fixed will prevent forex pair (such as EURUSD) from plotting the indicator.

Hope that you can implement the histogram feature on the latest PAS version.

Thank You!

You have asked this question countless times already. Stop please.

The answer is obvious: Yes, anything is possible. No, it is not available here. You could code it yourself. If you do not know how, pay someone.

Mike

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.

Yes, I'm happy to do that, but I'm still on the road, so it may be a while.
