Hey Silvester...

Placing the original GomCD in its own chart window... and in the price panel does work at making it work with the PAS.

But if I try to place the Gom UP/Down SMA on it -- the SMA plots in the wrong place constantly.

why do you think this is? It plots perfectly in Panel 2 -- but in Panel 1 it messes up like crazy..

@OpalDragon,

hard to tell without seeing the settings.

but my guess would be that not all indicators have the same setting for "reinit on session break". make sure all 3 indicators have either true or false.

@Silvester17

The Gom SMA doesn't have that setting... I just checked...

It is the GomCDSMA_UpDownV2

@OpalDragon,

had to find that indicator first.

you can always just use a normal sma and put it on gom cd. that should work. and if you want to use the gom sma, then you'll need to select bid/ask, binary and false.

here's gom sma:

Ok... cool..

But my Gom SMA up down - doesn't even have the feature to change any of that.. it only has parameters to change colors of the up/down..

But whatever - its ok.. I'll just live it like that.. and not put the PAS on it..

It really doesn't work to awesome having a bunch of different windows all over the place.. :/

I really would have thought someone would have already put that feature on the GomCD already.. That is really why I asked since it is so important to see divergence on it....

what I meant was, if you want to use the gom sma, you have to set gom cd and pas (on cd) to bid/ask and binary. because that setting is hard coded in the gom sma. hope I'm making sense.

Ok yea that makes more sense hehe

I did that but still the Gom UPDown SMA V2 keeps printing like "400" off to the upside... I should just go with a regular up/down sma then.. maybe..

Because the regular one works fine..

I had the same error message occur.
You need to delete PriceActionSwingPro.xml from the following location:
Documents\NinjaTrader 7\templates\Indicator.
Unfortunately any alterations to the "properties" of PriceActionSwingPro that you may have saved as a template will be lost.
Just change any "properties" as desired and resave the template.

I had used this solution to fix a strategy problem with the same error and NT support never suggested this...

another reason futures.io (formerly BMT) reigns supreme

Plot swing sizes as histogram

Thanks Dorschden and all for the great work and help!

Was wondering if the oscillator can be easily modified to show the swing sizes as a histogram?
